Onward Journey

Writer's picture: BNCHY TeamBNCHY Team

At 24, from outside, he had everything that makes one happy – loving parents, great partner, close-knit group of friends, and career path that exceeded every goal.  Yet, he wasn’t happy.  He wasn’t sad either.  But it never felt like his life.

At 25, in a single year, he had to deal with the loss of relationship and of job – both of which had become everything he was.  It wasn’t what he wanted, but no amount of fighting could change things.

At 26, he got his ‘ideal’ job and he walked away from it.  He had reached a point in his life where he realized that he wanted his work to have more meaning; to stand for something more important than him.  He now wanted to live a more fulfilled life.  Having deeper and varied connections were most important to him.

By losing what he had thought he wanted, he was on a path to what he deserved.
