They were each other’s agony aunts when things went wrong in their respective relationships. She was always very articulate while advising. He was always a good listener. However, off late, he had only been listening.
The more she spoke, the less he wanted to know. She could tell, but she kept on talking anyway – as if it no longer mattered. She even repeated something she had already said, which was quite extraordinary considering she had only been talking for a few minutes.
